Swans and Pies battle in SCG Shootout | Sydney v Collingwood Highlights | Round 10, 2019 | AFL – Sydney Video

Collingwood has once again stood up when it mattered, withstanding an outstanding Sam Reid display to defeat a dogged Sydney by seven points at the SCG on Friday night.

Reid booted six goals in an exceptional performance and was awarded the Goodes O’Loughlin Medal, while Pies skipper Scott Pendlebury delivered another vintage outing to continue what has been another fine season.

The Magpies took advantage of the absence of Swans midfield duo Josh Kennedy (left knee) and George Hewett (concussion) in the final term, stringing together their seventh-straight win, 11.14 (80) to 11.7 (73).

  5. And once again we have Bomber fans whinging about the umpires even when their team is not playing. Wow 😲 it’s like the whole world is against them. I reckon the Bombers are on track to take over from the Pies as the most disliked club in the league

  15. I believe the last bloke to travel as far as Brown in an uninterrupted run at the SCG was Michael Holding – and that little nod Holding always did to check his marker about 12 paces from the wicket meant he at least looked at the ground half way through it.

  16. Can everyone just shut up about the umpiring please? Just let us have one win without some random neutrals complaining about the umpiring that wasn't even that horrible.

  25. Long story short: Sydney kicks the First 3 goals, the pie get in front in the second quarter, Sydney came back in the 3rd quarter, but they couldn’t hold on to their lead

  26. A really close game in the dying stages but Chris Mayne’s goal sealed it, Great win for the pies but Daniel Wells doesn’t deserve this again! Injury

  27. Collingwood had no Taylor Adams, Jordan De Goey, Jamie Elliott, Travis Varcoe, Darcy Moore, Tom Langdon and Mason Cox and still won at the SCG and they lost Daniel Wells in the 3rd Quarter too

  29. Random non-Australian watching AFL highlights again, and again I don't get it. Why was a 50 given at 6:30 in this video? They showed… something?… Were they saying the defender went through the mark?

  30. To anyone saying franklin played for free kicks, it’s because he never gets them so he wants to get one for once because the umpires love players like Ben brown and hate buddy, and he didn’t play well but he kicked 2 goals and that’s all he needed to do

  31. Callum brown should have given away a holding the ball for running too far, too many missed holding the Balls and incorrect disposals, and Greenwood’s “mark” anyway Greenwood and Reid Top 2 BOG with treloar 3rd, even Collingwood fans should agree there were too many missed free kicks that costed us at least 5 goals.
